On March 13, 2024, in the vibrant city of Athens, Greece, our partners CONNEXIONS together with the Agricultural Chamber of Greece played host to a dynamic Workshop titled “Strengthening Digital and Business Skills for the Digital Transformation of Agriculture.” This pivotal event, organized by our esteemed Greek partner CONNEXIONS, brought together key stakeholders to explore the intersection of digital technology and agricultural innovation.
At the forefront of the discussion was the distinguished Professor Konstantina (Tina) Costopoulou from the Agricultural University of Athens, serving as the keynote speaker. With her expertise, Professor Costopoulou presented the path towards a digitally empowered agricultural sector.
The event drew a diverse audience, including members of the Agricultural Chamber of Greece, faculty and staff from the Agricultural University of Athens, representatives from the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, as well as regional authorities. This convergence of minds ensured rich and insightful discussions on the future of farming in Greece.
The agenda featured engaging presentations and discussions on various themes, including Digital Transformation in Agriculture, showcasing exemplary practices from Greece, and harnessing the potential of the AgriSkills Training Program and Platform. Participants delved into practical strategies for integrating digital tools and business skills into agricultural practices, paving the way for a more resilient and sustainable industry.
At the end, attendees departed with newfound insights and inspiration, poised to drive forward the digital transformation of agriculture in Greece.
